A Service Provider is a business, organization, or person who provides various services to the community. For example, As Service Provider could be an Archery Shop who provides Archery Repair Services or offers a shooting range; or an Outfitter – Guide who offers various types of hunts.

Service Providers can be found in The Sports Globe site in multiple way; by geographic location (Continental Regions, Countries, or States/Provinces); by the type of Provider (Archery Shop, Outfitter – Guide, Taxidermy, etc.), and the Categories and Options available for that specific type of Provider. These associations to a Service Provider drive the various pages in the site, and also allows the visitor to search using different combinations.

Calendar Events; are created by registered and active Service Providers. When creating a new Calendar Event, specific types of information are need prior to saving the Calendar Event; such as the ‘type’ of event (Archery, General Public, etc.), the Time Zone where the event is located, the beginning and ending dates/times of the Calendar Event, and the Location of the Calendar Event (as this can differ from that of your normal business location).Having these essential pieces of information is what drives the searching of Calendar Events for the visitor of the site. Is also allows The Sports Globe to convert the event dates/times into a visitors local time zone (if they choose), as visitors of the site could be viewing your Calendar Event from any time zone in the world. You also have the ability to include an attachement to the Calendar Event in different formats (PDF, Text, etc.), for uses such as Registration Forms or Driving Directions.

Packages; similar to Calendar Events, Packages are created by registered and active Service Providers. When creating a new Package, specific types of information are need prior to saving the Package; such as the ‘type’ of package (Hunting Package, Fishing Package, etc.), the Time Zone where the event is located, the beginning and ending dates of the Package, and the Location of the Package (as this can differ from that of your normal business location).Having these essential pieces of information is what drives the searching of Packages for the visitor of the site. Is also allows The Sports Globe to convert the package dates into a visitors local time zone (if they choose), as visitors of the site could be viewing your Package from any time zone in the world. You also have the ability to include an attachement to the Calendar Event in different formats (PDF, Text, etc.), for uses such as a Brochure or Driving Directions.

The information we display about your Service Provider on The Sports Globe are; the Service Provider name you provided, logo, address information, telephone number, email address, web site address, and the content information you provided regarding the Service Provider. When displaying information about a Service Providers Calendar Events or Packages, we display the Service Provider information (mentioned above), as well as the title, dates, time zone, location, location information and the details the Service Provider submitted regarding the Calendar Event and/or Package.

Becoming a Service Provider is easy. First you need to create a new User Account with The Sports Globe. Then from the Account Manager page, there will be a link to ‘Register a Service Provider’. Service Providers are related to a User Account, but no User Account Information is displayed in TheSportsGlobe.com when displaying Service Provider Information (including Calendar Events, Packages and Locations).

While other sites offer comparable services as The Sports Globe for prices varying from $40 to $1200 (US Dollars), we are currently offering this service (being a Service Provider) to you free of charge for a period of time.

Please understand that we do have intentions of expanding the functionality and features of this site, and that in doing so this may pose additional expenses for The Sports Globe to provide these services to the community. That said, in the future there may be an expense to you (the Service Provider) for the services offered to you by The Sports Globe. In the event that this becomes the case, The Sports Globe will provide adequate notice to you using the Email Address you provide.
